The STEM Subject Choice and Careers 'Equality and Diversity' online Toolkit is now launched. 

Look at the associated link below for the STEM Subject Choice and Careers 'Equality and Diversity Toolkit', this online resource will assist you to:

  • Identify gaps in your knowledge and suggest ways to address these
  • Find examples of good practice
  • Learn about organisations who can help

The toolkit has:  

  • Where are you now? - an interactive 'health check' to help you assess where you might need help
  • Case studies with common scenarios and suggestions for how to tackle them
  • A resource section linked to posters, guides and other downloadable materials
  • Signposts to websites with information on specific areas of equality and diversity relating to Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths

Available to download is a report "Encouraging Equality & Diversity" in STEM produced from an event which took place on 22 March 2011 at the Royal Society, London which aimed to provide a base for moving forward on equality and diversity in STEM subjects and careers.  If you would like a hard copy please get in touch supplying your full postal address.
